Continuing in my HELLO travelers notebook this month, it's an A6 sized journal, I stamped the background of my page with a woodgrain patterned stamp in light brown ink before popping the "hello september" card on top, which is held in place with some matte gold washi tape.
The leaves on the trees are still green and vibrant here in the Smoky Mountains, but some have begun to fall even though they haven't changed color yet. These are brown, crinkly and dried out. But, I do adore me some fall foliage when the yellows, reds and oranges start appearing.
HELLO SEPTEMBER THOUGHTS
See how lovely that gold washi tape is? It sparkles a bit even though it's not glittery. And can you see the sheen on my project card, too? I accidentally printed the free download onto photo paper instead of cardstock which made the colors a bit brighter, but it's all good. I also used the WANDER banner die cut to embellish my project card because it kind of fit the theme for my journaling this month.
HIDDEN JOURNALING
And we can all use a little positive reinforcement now and again, can't we? What have you been using your monthly project cards for?
