I love to read, I love books and I love journaling. That means I have bunches of book lying around and I can't possibly keep them all. Well, I could, but then where would I put all my new books.
I first played around with a hardcover book turned art journal a few years ago. There's something about old books and old book pages that really suit me. I still use that same journal today and there are still plenty of pages for me to journal and tell myself story.
Here are a few more of my art journaling posts, if you're still wondering what you can do with your extra journaling cards, stamps and inks, some watercolors, washi tape and other fun ephemera.
LET'S TAKE A PEEK
This journal has 91 pages and over 40 of thee pages included are pre-embellished for you and the rest of the pages are made up from cardstock, patterned paper bags and scrapbook paper.
...and here's the embellishment kit that is included with your journal - 80 items are included!
I sometimes collect quotes in my journals, but mostly I use a list form of journaling to share my story. It's easy, it's fun and it gets me to thinking about and journaling subjects I might never have explored.
