When Emily from Stencil Revolution asked if I wanted to work with some stencils, I said, "Yes!" I made a pillow cover for Victoria with a Panda stencil using some acrylic paints, but today I'll be sharing how I used the Bjorn Tile Stencil in my Travelers Notebook, this time with watercolors. THIS WEEK IN MY GRATITUDE JOURNALS
You've seen me using my Field Notes size travelers notebook before and I continue to love the ease of having pages pre-embellished and waiting for me to journal my thankful thoughts. I ended up using this page spread as my starting point.
I began my gently pulling up the "be awesome" washi tape and then gathered my watercolor set, paint brush and stencil. I added the date where the washi tape was originally.
I love that the Stencil Revolution stencils comes with half design shapes which just seemed so perfect for the edge of my pages without having to do it all myself. Genius, right?
The TODAY die cut is part of the Printable 1" Circle Die Cuts Collection and there are 30 fun designs on one page. After I punched the tag, I added it to a metal rim tag before adding it to my page.
The pink index card is a great color and size, perfect for jotting a quick thought. And that's exactly what I did.
I added a page flag, some die cuts and washi tape before I showed myself some self-love this week by splurging on covering up those sparkly, silvery grey hairs sprouting up again and again all over my head. Yikes!
You can find the numbered tabs here and the heart die cut here.
I am using this Gratitude Journal.
