If you've seen my posts on Facebook or Instagram, you've seen my lists for the September 30 Days of Lists challenge. Registration is still open and I invite you to join this fun community, if you're up to document your story. But if you haven't seen any of my lists yet, here's a peek at my Days 1-5.
BONUS LISTS
Here's the journal I'm using:When you flip open the kraft bag, which has been folded over, there's a bonus page! I used a graphic that was included in the registration packet, the "I'm A Lister Because" card you see, and added a kraft paper pennant with my reason: I want to share my story. ❤︎
DAY 1
Flip the bag once more and there's my Day 1 list. I added the ONE die cut that was part of the freebie download I designed for the challenge, everyone who registers gets access to the download.
I used thin black washi tape to adhere my "the story" journaling card. If you're a fan of journaling cards, there's a wonderful selection of printable cards in the shop > Journaling Cards or take a look at the other Print at Home offerings. I also added a cardstock tab and wrote September, then added the ONE die cut that was part of the freebie download I designed for the challenge. Everyone who registers gets access to the download.
DAY 2
The Enjoy stamp came as part of the journal design, but I decided to color it in partly with my bright pink marker. I used a label sticker, found in this Embellishment Kit, for my list prompt and date on the right side of the pge and the remainder of the stickers for my list on the left side of the page.
DAY 3
My friend Jeanne sent me a happy mail package and this journaling card was included. I love teh colors and the gold foil stamped title. I ended up going long on my list and used a small strip of washi tape to adhere the card so that it could be flipped over.
I used an arrow die cut, and meant to add "flip here", and you can find more in assorted patterns here.
I used the back of the label sticker from Day 2 as a date holder for today's list. I also rounded my right side page corners to mimic the rounded corners on the journaling card.
DAY 4
How long has it been since you pulled out your Copr-o-Dile? Yeah me, too! Just looking at this page with all those colors makes me smile. Must be that preppy Class of 1982 schoolgirl coming out in me.
DAY 5
I used a journaling card {sold in my shop if you'd like one, too} and embellished with some skinny striped washi tape, the number 5 die cut, with a foam dot behind, from the free download sheet I created for everyone and then did some hand stitching with bakers twine along the right edge. Here are a few detail shots showing how I did the stitching. I used floral wire as a "needle" because I didn't have a needle with a large enough eye to thread the bakers twine through. I then pierced my papers using an old mouse pad underneath to protect our wood floors.
