  1. It takes practice to maintain an optimistic outlook. If you have trouble thinking positively, realize that it will take time to entirely alter your self-talk habits. People with more negative outlooks may find it difficult to alter their cognitive patterns. What counts is that you're making an effort to empower yourself to think more positively by becoming aware of your automatic negative ideas and rephrasing it in a more positive way. Anyway, stress?
