THE LISTS
Day 6 | Emoji's I Use The Most
I outlined inside the speech bubble shape from Day 5 onto the coin envelope {find more here} and got lucky when I found letter stickers that fit inside the shape. I printed out the emoji's onto sticker paper, trimmed and stuck them to the page.

Day 7 | I Feel Powerful When
Mini books are such a great little project to use up pretty scraps and random letter and number stickers, which is how the number 7 makes an appearance on today's list. The embellishment kit below is available for purchase!
After the List
So after reading my list, it appears that I value being right. That's not what I meant for it to read like at all. I mean for it to be more like, I am right after someone doubts me, or my solution, or my answer choice but in the end it ends up I am right after all. I don't gloat, but I try to glow inwardly feeling powerful that I didn't let myself down.
Day 8 | Things Other People Love That I {just} Don't Get
Before the List
I had no idea what I was going to do with this page when I put my journal together, but I really liked the retro, vintage feel of the colors and designs of this patterned paper.
After the List
To embellish, I added the speech bubble die cut included in the embellishment kit and a number sticker to the left side of the page. For the list, I used a manila shipping tag that I placed between a strip of paper I trimmed with my craft knife and added pop dots to the back of the "love" die cut from the journal kit.
It's fun coming up with new ways to attach ephemera to a page and shipping tags are one of my go to listing choices. Here's an embellishment kit with tags already embellished with washi tape.
Day 9 | Ways to Nurture Myself
Before the List
Here's how your journal arrives, ready for you to explore your creative side
After the List
I used the strip of the manila shipping tag that shows through from where I slipped it between my cut cardstock {see List 8 above} as the place to write my list prompt for today.
I love label stickers, pennant shapes and tucking lists into bags, so this end up being a favorite list page of mine. At least so far.
Adding in different sized papers, bags and other ephemera is a concept I adore. I tucked a business card sized journaling card inside the small glassine bag and used both sides to journal ways to nurture myself.
I've had to learn to allow myself to slow down, take time and know my limitations and over the last two years, I've had many moments when I should have been doing "real" work but gave myself permission to be lazy. Which I am not. At all. I feel like I should be busy and working every waking moment. So, it's been a revelation for me and I'm beginning to enjoy it.
