happy fall | mini album

Yesterday, as I was looking out the window, I saw leaves sprinkling the yard. Not the pretty leaves full of color, just plain brown leaves. I can't wait until we have those glorious, bright leaves. They'll be here soon enough, I know, even though we still have hot & humid afternoons.  Our mornings and evenings are already crisp and enjoyable and I love that. Fall is my most favorite time of year and I look forward to it as soon as the warm weather hits...which is usually around late March in East Tennessee.

I've done a Fall Mini Album for the last several years and I'm happy to share that the 2013 Fall mini albums are in the shop and ready to ship. I used some of the Studio Calico Mr. Huey misters to color the chipboard scroll frame and I like the vivid touch of rusticity it adds to the cover. And what about those teal flowers...it looks like they're made out of seam binding. I can't wait to use that wood veneer polaroid camera embellishment, it's so cute! This year, I stepped out of the box a bit and chose papers that are a bit less traditionally fall flavored and more just a fun collection of papers to use. Let's see how that works.
