We had a lovely day yesterday. As we hung out together at home, the girls came up with the idea of a game. Isabella was the originator of the idea, actually, and her game was Pin the Flag on the Pole while Victoria stuck with Pin the Tail on the Donkey where the Donkey was red and blue striped...very patriotic. We packed them both up and headed up to Nana's and Papa's so that they could swim for a bit on a very hot and humid July 4th. 

Seeing them spin us all 'round and 'round with such pride and them knowing that their ideas resulted in us having such fun just proves the age old message that "Simple is Best" remains true. A child's imagination is a wonder to behold and I'm so thankful to be witness to it every day.
