my 52Photos capture
This is the mother plant of nearly all the Hosta plants in our yard. It was here when Gordon, Zach and I moved into Mamaw and Papaw Wright's home nearly 14 years ago and has remained healthy and huge and abundantly gives forth more and more new leaves every single year. It is in full sun for part of the day, which is usually the kiss of extinction for this species of Hosta. When I see the stripes of the leaves begin to unfurl each Spring, I smile.

the wrap-up
Our Summer vacation begins in 3 days, so things are about to get wild around here! Maybe I'll ask the girls to snap a few photos for 52Photos and participate beside me.
Beautiful, Monika! I wish I had your green thumb!
ReplyDeleteThis is so nice. The greenery is the sign for clean and healthy environment.
