my 52Photos capture
The last day of school was yesterday and my girls said that they didn't want it to end. I remember feeling the same way. I loved school, too. It's amazing just how much learning happens in one year, how many new friendships are formed, what experiences they'll remember. And how much they grow. There are moments that it feels as if just yesterday I was cradling a newborn and wondering how I was going to do it all. But I did. And we do. And they do. Grow that is.
As I was editing the photos for this post, I noticed the hustle and bustle of cars and parents and kids in the photo of the first day of school that contrasts so well with the quiet calm and fewer number of students on the last day of school.

That's an adorable photo comparison. Do you do one each year like this? They'll enjoy looking back on them later on in life :) Great idea!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time to do a photo collage since this is Victoria's first year in school, but I agree, this will definitely be something I need to continue with, Jenn.
