I used the same Paper Pad and Textured Cardstock to make the invite. I used several different punches to adorn the envelope and the top of the invitation. In the photo above you can see a close up of all the fun glittered stripes in this paper...so appropriate for my girly girl!
I'm a new designer with Momenta {and enjoying every paper crafting minute of it, too} and you can view the rest of my posts for Momenta here. If you haven't yet, we invite you to follow the blog - it's over there in their sidebar - so that you don't miss a single post or special announcement! We'd love to have you as part of our gang of Momenta brand paper lovers!
And if you don't mind, let me show you what I did to the cupcakes I took to Isabella's school for snack time on her birthday, which also happened to be the first day of school. Big day for my 3rd grader, don't you think?
I used a paper from the Family Outings line to show a more masculine side of this idea...Zach would have been mortified to have had pink cupcake banners. And that cute tag {below} I made for the cupcake holder is made from the same Paper Pad.
Here are the steps to take to make your flag banners:
cut strips of patterned paper to desired width
apply adhesive
place toothpick on paper strip
fold paper strip in half around the toothpick
turn flag over and trim to a pointed shape
insert newly created flag into scrumptious cupcake
very cute...love those cupcake flags..
