Oh, was he ever a hottie in those tight-fitting Wrangler jeans {a la George Strait for you country music fans}. Well, he still is, in my eyes. He gets hotter as the years go by!
Gordon had only one special request during our wedding preparations. He wanted to wear jeans with his tux jacket and how was I going to deny that? Neither of us fits into our wedding attire. He says he likes me better with some meat on my bones...not that I'm huge or anything, but I am no longer a size 4. And I like him any way he comes!

The theme for this month's Gallery at Write.Click.Scrapbook. is Weddings and this layout was designed with that theme in mind. Ours was an outdoor wedding, which took place on one of the bridges crossing the creek at my in-law's home. And I wouldn't change a thing. We had family and just a few close friends. Zach was our ring bearer and my Aunt Rachel and Uncle John {you might remember they both recently passed away} were able to be here from California.
So many of our photos are dark, but we were quite lucky that the rain had passed on through earlier in the day. And it was pre-digital, so when I scan the photos, there are flecks of dust and it's tough to brighten them. Obviously I need to get better at that whole process. I'll add this layout to our WE album, which is why it's in an 8.50x11 format and not 12x12.
The lovely papers I used are from a collection titled The Story of Us from Momenta. I like that the colors and patterns of this collection are not overly bright or girly and see myself using this collection quite a bit as there are also some classy stripes and sophisticated damask patterns included. Here's a link to the Cardstock Pad I used and here's the Sticker Pad, too. The die cut shape used is the Top Note from Stampin' Up.
Just love this. Hubby and I celebrated 13 years just this past April. Congratulations to you and your hubby!
