I asked readers to submit projects they completed using one of my downloads or projects as inspiration, thinking that it would be fun to put them in the spotlight and also to show how each person takes an idea and personalizes it to make their very own. My favorite part of Stephanie's mini is that each person used their own handwriting, which in itself is something to be thankful for! Okay, okay, I love that she used her Bind-it-All, too!
Meet Stephanie, of simple things, a place where she jots down thoughts about the simple things in life that hold her attention. I admire that she finds time at all to blog, she's a busy Mama!
Stephanie says:
I chose to do this as a family project because 2010 had been a big year for our little family – new baby, I had just had surgery, we were getting ready to move - and my children and my sister’s two kids are getting old enough now to understand about being thankful. I thought this would be a neat tangible reminder that we can pull out at Thanksgiving to remember previous year’s blessings. My side of the family celebrates Thanksgiving every other year with a trip to a cabin {edited to add: Stephanie stays in a cabin in our neck of the woods} so this will be an every other year project for me that will include my entire side of the family.
I am married to Travis (8 years now) and a stay-at-home / homeschooling mom of four busy kids: Noelle (7), Natalie (5), Betsy (3) and Ethan (5 months). We live in middle Tennessee and are still in throes of unpacking from a recent move.
I hope you find the time to visit with Stephanie for a while so you can see the rest of her crafty projects and homeschooling tips and to thank her for sharing her project with us today.
