in the spotlight :: amy, an etsy customer and blog reader

I'd like to share some photos of a custom mini-album I made for a blog reader, and Etsy customer, named Amy. She has a son she adores and wanted a special place to capture favorite photos of times they spend together. A dedication album to her son so he'll never forget just how special she knows he is.

You might recognize the journaling spots, they're a custom version of these labels, which ship free if you're in the United States.

From one Mom to another, I can't recommend a better blog! Like most mom's, I was getting my "to do" list done one night and came across the blog, "I Love It All With Monika." I had always dreamed of blogging, scrapbooking and creating a personal space with all my thoughts for my child to once reminisce through. I Love It All was the perfect inspiration to get my creative thoughts flowing. I was blown away by Monika's ADORABLE albums, scrapbooking pages and artwork. I immediately contacted her in hopes she would be willing to create an album that I could personalize for my son. Let's face it- we all strive to be as creative as Monika! How does she think of all this cute stuff? Have you seen her Valentines Day Countdown- too cute!!! Within a few hours, I heard back and she was more than happy to do a custom album for me. 

I can't express how easy and fun the process was. We communicated daily on what I wanted the pages to look like, colors, fonts and more! Monika kept me in the loop during the entire process and had the album shipping to me within a week. I can't even express how cute and creative the wrapping was when I pulled the album out of the box.  She was more than gracious with adding additional ribbons, pieces and fun stickers for me to add! 

My idea was to capture a yearly album that focuses on the fun events we all share with our children (Christmas, Easter, First Day of School, Family Vacations, etc.). Monika did an awesome job making each page look absolutely adorable and all I have to do is add the photos and personalize each page with our family memories! If you haven't checked out her personal albums, it is a must "to- do." My mother ordered her "Love from A to Z" album and personalized it for my father. It was super easy and such a unique gift!

I will have to e-mail Monika some photos when I get started so she can share them with all of you. I can't wait to begin creating this special album for my son.

The great thing about Amy's Mom, I thought, when she ordered her "Alphabet of our Love" mini-album, is that she and her husband were married in 1978...married over 30 years and she still wants to surprise him on Valentine's Day with a celebration of their love. I want to be them when I grow up!

They're available in your choice of covers {and I can do a custom color, if you wish} and feature baker's twine from The Twinery.
