key to my heart

Ready for a few more {heart} day projects? Good, as I have more to share with you in the coming weeks. You might notice that none of the projects so far have been very difficult or intricate, just lots of fun to make!

Using more of that American Crafts cardstock, I used it in place of a photo on this matte.  No frame either, just propped it in a plate stand. Hmmm, may have to spray paint that plate stand to "kick it up a notch" once it warms up around here. I've had the key for over 20 years {since before Zach was born} and put it to good use in this simple little project. It will be displayed again this year, like it was last year when I made it, along with the Valentine's Day countdown calendar, in the kitchen.

After all, the kitchen is the heart of the home.
