I couldn't decided whether to document our Fall this year. I've been going back and forth with myself...do I want to or not? I just finished out our Summer in the Life mini album and I know I am going to do another December Daily {a la Ali Edwards} this year and really didn't know if I was up to another project.
Do you see where this is going?
I had already designed a printable with a Fall theme. And then I went to my paper drawers and started going through the colors looking to see what I had that would go nicely with the turning of the leaves and before I knew it I was deep, deep, deep in paper, journaling spots, ribbon, and...
...this is how it all ended up. I decided if I was going to make one for myself, I might as well make 5 more and put them in the Etsy shop for sale.
The quote printed on vellum in the upper left corner is where it all started. I moved the border surrounding the quote to the right so that the holes punched in the left side would not go right through the rounded border. I also designed 3 tabs/sections titled: falling leaves, pumpkin patch and nature walks. The felt embellies are adhesive backed.
You'll also get one each of these six patterned papers. I like them all, but I already know in my head what my plan is for the green sweater knit paper!
Yep, there's more. The diagonal striped paper is double-sided as is the green grid paper. Although this photo shows two sheets, you will only receive one sheet of this paper...this is just to show both patterns that you'll be receiving in one sheet of paper. The baker's twine, 2" binder rings, file folder labels, ribbon and jute are also included in the kit.
And lastly the covers. You will receive only one cover with your kit, which will have the grommets attached as you see in the lower left hand corner of the photo. I'll let you decide what to do for the back cover. The covers are available on a first-come, first-paid basis...you choose your color when you place your order in the Etsy shop. There are 2 brick red, 2 autumn gold, 1 grey and 1 green. You will also receive 3 different sizes/styles of shipping tags.
Edited to Add: {only 2 albums remain}

Included in the kit are 1 cover with grommets, 2 of the 2" binder rings and 38 papers and assorted embellishments. I decided on a 6x4 orientation for this mini. I usually take my photos this way and won't have to think twice about which direction to take my photos, nor will I have to change the orientation of the photo when I do my editing.
As I begin working on my Fall mini, I will post pages to the blog in case you want to recreate this project at home on your own without buying the mini-album kit in the shop. I'm all about using what you have on hand and making something so that it is your very own creation. A little piece of you.
But, if you're interested in purchasing a kit, click here. And, in case you didn't know this already, Fall is my very "favoritest" season of all.
